Iron Muscle is the structured strength training class at Dune Training, 60 Avenue Mohammed V in the Gueliz district of Marrakech. For 60 minutes, you work one or two muscle groups in depth, guided by a coach who corrects your technique rep by rep. Groups are capped at 12 people so you always get personal attention on your lifts.

The warm-up lasts 8-10 minutes. We start with rowing or assault bike at low intensity to raise core temperature, then targeted joint mobility for the day's focus areas. If it is chest and shoulders day, we do band dislocations, external rotations, and scapular work. If it is leg day, ankle and hip mobility drills get priority. The coach makes sure you are physically ready before touching heavy weights.

The main block follows linear periodization structured over 4-week cycles. A typical week: Monday chest and shoulders, Tuesday back and biceps, Thursday quads and glutes, Friday hamstrings and calves. You do 4-5 exercises per session, 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps. The compound lifts are all here: bench press, overhead press, barbell row, back squat, leg press, Romanian deadlift, weighted pull-ups, and weighted dips.

Loading is progressive. The coach logs your performance each session and helps you add 2.5 kg each week when your form allows it. We train with Olympic bars, dumbbells from 2 to 50 kg, cable machines, and accessories like resistance bands and chains to vary the strength curve. Every lift has a purpose in the overall program design.

The program alternates between volume phases (4 sets of 10-12 reps, 60-90 s rest) and strength phases (5 sets of 5 reps, 2-3 min rest). Every 4 weeks, we run a deload to let your body recover and supercompensate. This periodization prevents plateaus and keeps you progressing month after month without burning out.

This class is open to all levels. Beginners learn the foundational movements with light loads and strict technique before adding weight. Intermediate and advanced lifters push intensity with precise coaching and spotting on heavy sets. The coach adapts every exercise to your build, your goals, and any limitations you have.

Bring flat shoes (Converse or lifting shoes), a water bottle, and a towel. Standard gym clothing works fine: shorts or leggings and a t-shirt that lets the coach see your back position. We provide all the equipment including bars, plates, dumbbells, machines, and accessories.
