HYROX Power Classes in Marrakech | Schedule & Booking

HYROX Power at Dune Training is the advanced version of our HYROX program, built for athletes who want to perform on race day and chase podium times. At 60 Avenue Mohammed V, Gueliz district, Marrakech, this 60-minute class pushes intensity higher than the standard HYROX class. Groups are capped at 12 so the coach can monitor your pacing and form under fatigue.

The warm-up lasts 10 minutes and ramps quickly into race-pace effort. Running at 70-80% of your max aerobic speed for 3-4 minutes, then fast dynamic mobility (leg swings, hip openers, inchworms), and 2-3 sets of quick transitions between stations to prepare your cardiovascular system for the rapid regime changes that define HYROX racing.

The main block runs 40 minutes and simulates real HYROX race conditions at competition loads. Sled push at 152/102 kg (men/women), sled pull at the same weight, SkiErg 1000 m at high cadence targeting sub-4 min pace, rower 1000 m under 4 minutes, 80 m of burpee broad jumps, farmers carry 2x24/2x16 kg for 200 m, 100 wall balls with 6/9 kg med ball, and 75 m of sandbag lunges carrying 20/10 kg on your shoulders.

The focus is on transitions and pacing strategy. You learn to chain sled to SkiErg without downtime, manage heart rate between stations, and hold a sustained pace across all 8 stations without blowing up early. The coach times each segment and compares your splits to your target race time. We also drill station-specific breathing strategies that save you seconds on every transition.

The format varies by training cycle and where you are relative to your next race. In the base phase: long intervals with moderate rest to build aerobic capacity. In the specific phase (6-8 weeks before a race): partial or full race simulations with minimal rest. In competition week: reduced volume, maintained intensity, focus on arriving fresh mentally and physically.

This class is for intermediate and advanced athletes who have already completed the standard HYROX program or have a solid fitness base (able to run 5 km under 25 minutes and do 50 wall balls unbroken). If you are new to HYROX, start with our standard class to build your base first.

Bring your running shoes (stable, not too thick for ground feel), gloves if you use them for the sled, a water bottle with electrolytes, and a towel. Wear breathable, fitted clothing that does not restrict movement. We supply all HYROX-specific equipment including sleds, SkiErg, rowers, wall balls, sandbags, and kettlebells.
