HYROX Classes in Marrakech | Schedule & Booking
At Dune Training, located at 60 Avenue Mohammed V in the Gueliz district of Marrakech, we run the only dedicated HYROX preparation program in Morocco. Our HYROX classes last 60 minutes, with a maximum of 12 athletes per session and a dedicated coach watching your form throughout. Whether you are training for your first HYROX race or chasing a personal best, this is where you build race-ready fitness in a structured, coached environment.
A typical session starts with 10 minutes of dynamic warm-up: light jogging on our indoor track, hip and shoulder mobility drills, core activation with dead bugs and bird dogs, then a few empty reps on the day's movements to prime your nervous system. The coach walks through each drill and corrects positioning before the main block begins, ensuring your body is prepared for the intensity ahead.
The main block runs for 40 minutes and replicates race-day conditions. You rotate between running intervals (400 m to 800 m on the treadmill) and functional stations: sled push at 100-150 kg, sled pull at the same load, SkiErg for 1000 m, Concept2 rower for 1000 m, burpee broad jumps across the floor, farmers carry with 16-32 kg kettlebells, wall balls with a 6 or 9 kg med ball thrown to the target, and sandbag lunges with 10 or 20 kg on your shoulders. Each station trains a different energy system and movement pattern, exactly as you will face on race day.
We focus on transitions, effort management, and pacing strategy. The coach times every station and logs your splits so you can track progress week over week. You learn to manage your heart rate between stations, breathe under load, and hold technique when fatigue builds. This attention to pacing is what separates athletes who finish strong from those who crash at station six.
This class is open to all fitness levels. First-timers get scaled loads and shorter distances. If you are preparing for a competition, the coach ramps intensity to simulate real race conditions. We have athletes who completed their first HYROX race after just 3 months of training here. The coach programs periodized blocks that peak at the right time for your target event.
Equipment-wise, we provide everything you need: sleds, SkiErg, Concept2 rowers, wall balls, kettlebells, sandbags, and treadmills. Just bring your water bottle, a towel, and stable running shoes (avoid thick-soled maximalist shoes that reduce ground feel). A breathable shirt and shorts or leggings are all you need for clothing.
We offer multiple sessions per week, both morning and evening slots. Check our schedule to find a time that works for you and book ahead because classes fill up fast. Groups stay small at 12 people so the coach can give real feedback rather than just counting reps from across the room.
Ready to give it a shot? Message us on WhatsApp or drop by the studio at 60 Avenue Mohammed V in Gueliz, Marrakech to book your first HYROX session at Dune Training. Your first class is the hardest one to sign up for, but we promise you will leave wanting more.
